You get a ball and you get a ball. You all get a ball. Ok, so I’m feeling like Oprah over here! If you’ve been in to see us, you have your very own Moment of Truth Physical Therapy treatment ball. We’ve previously done a video about using it along the spine to release areas of tension, gain flexibility and generally just move better so we don’t have to hurt when we get out of bed in the morning! But there are so many times I’m recommending use of it in the belly so figure it was high time we did a video to help with home programs! And don’t let the dog eat your homework! This is great for bladder leaking, psoas tightness (which affects our hips and low backs a lot) and any abdominal scar tissue! So often we think that leaking is due to weak saggy tissue but so many women have pelvic floor and lower abdominal tightness that is impacting their bladder. It is also amazing at alleviating back pain because often our back muscles are tight because of reacting to pulling from the front.
