Yoga Nidra for Postpartum

Rest for the Mother Who Is Always Giving
The postpartum season asks so much of you. Between feeding, soothing, healing, and caring for everyone else, true rest can feel impossible.

This gentle Yoga Nidra experience is designed to offer something many new mothers rarely receive: a chance to simply be held.

Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based meditation that guides the body into deep states of rest while the mind remains gently aware. Even if sleep has been interrupted for weeks or months, this practice supports the nervous system, encourages relaxation, and creates space for physical, mental, and emotional restoration.

Together we'll explore:
Gentle nervous system regulation for the postpartum body
Releasing the mental load of motherhood
Rest without guilt or the pressure to "do"
Reconnecting with yourself beyond the role of caregiver
Cultivating calm, resilience, and inner safety

No previous meditation or yoga experience is necessary. You are welcome exactly as you are, whether your baby is a few weeks old or you're still navigating the postpartum journey years later.

Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel supported, such as a blanket, pillow, or eye mask.

Because every mother deserves a place where someone is taking care of her.

Intro to TRE

(Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)

Sunday, October 11th 8:00am-9:30am

TRE® or Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is based on the fundamental idea, backed by research, that stress, tension, and trauma is both psychological and physical. TRE®’s reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing TRE®, many people report feelings of peace and well-being. TRE® has helped many thousands of people globally.

TRE was created by Dr. David Berceli. Dr. Berceli is an international expert in the areas of trauma intervention and conflict resolution as it can release stored emotions from the body.

Whether you are a parent/spouse who would like more patience with your family, a victim of violence or accident, a soldier suffering with PTSD, an athlete, or simply a person who wants to become more resilient and just feel better in life, you can benefit from TRE®.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Circle

This circle was created in honor of Jacob (my own miscarriage) and for the many mothers who carry loss in their hearts.
Grief after pregnancy, infant, or neonatal loss can feel deeply isolating. Jacob’s Meadow is a quiet space where mothers can gather, rest, and simply be in the presence of others who understand.

Each gathering includes gentle grounding practices, Reiki-infused sound healing, and Yoga Nidra — a deeply restful guided meditation designed to support the nervous system and offer space for the body and heart to soften.

There is no expectation to share your story. You are welcome to simply rest, receive, and be held in a compassionate environment.

This is not therapy or grief counseling, but a supportive space for rest, remembrance, and connection.

All women navigating loss are welcome.
