Hip and back opener! Are you feeling tension within your hips and back, like the rest of us. Try this stretch we are loving since learning in one of our Yin Yoga classes @azhealingspace, @momentoftruthpt.
This stretch is useful to open both hips and your lower back. Begin sitting with your legs in what we are calling ‘zig zag’ position. Sitting tall to lengthen your spine, twisting to one side and then bending or leaning forward to add the stretch to your lower back. Hold 30 sec to 2 minutes or longer. Use your arms to come out of the pose and repeat on the other side.See you soon!
