So a client came in yesterday and was asking me about some of the lessons I had learned while in Fiji at the Tony Robbins Life And Wealth mastery event. I shared a bunch of things with her and then almost as an after thought shared about jumping off the pole on day one.

I downplayed it because that wasn’t necessarily something that pushed me outside of my comfort zone but then when I shared about her the lessons I had learned in the experience, even though it wasn’t pushing me outside my comfort zone, it was still probably one of the biggest mental shifts and action items of the entire conference that I did that indicated the growth and transformation and healing I’ve had over the last six months. Here are some pics and a video of the awesome leap – or was it? Scroll down for the juicy lessons!

VIDEO: Amy’s turn at the top of the pole
So what did you notice in the video? Hopefully more than my cuss word when someone told me I was halfway😬So many potential lessons and gems from this one activity.

* Do you ever get halfway to a goal and feel discouraged because you can’t see the end? With the rope and helmet, it was hard to see how much more there was to climb.
* Do you even know why you’re climbing whatever proverbial pole or mountain you’re climbing?
* Do you have the right people cheering you on? Are you celebrating your wins?
* Do you take a minute when you reach the “top” to feel it? Cherish it?

In case you couldn’t hear what I said at the top, I yelled, “I am held. I am supported and I am Free!”

And then I fell forward, trusting the person at the other end of the rope. I didn’t jump and I didn’t leap for the trapeze. This was significant for me. My transformative moment actually started way back at the event center when our leader first encouraged us to ask ourselves if the trapeze was even for usI had never done that. I just leapt because I could. Jumped because it was fun. Pushed myself just to find out if it was as easy as I thought it could be.

Turns out – slowing down was the part out of my comfort zone.

Waiting, asking, listening, reflecting – that turned out to be my challenge.

What would be your challenge? Where is your comfort zone and are you pushing beyond it?

Blessings,

Amy and the MOT team
