Whether you’re a parent, teacher or need help with your kids’ stress, we’ve got you!
Back to school can be really exciting, but it can also be very stressful, challenging, emotional and triggering.
Hey all, it’s Amy here and I wanted to share one of our favorite stress relief tips that can be used by anyone and even taught to children over the age of 4 or 5. It can even be used in classrooms!
This activity only takes a few minutes and really downshifts our nervous systems and calms that infamous Vagus nerve to help keep us grounded and OUT of fight or flight!

LOIS breathing
- Lips together
- Open, soft, round mouth
- Inhale and Exhale
- Silently
Add your Hum and allow your body to get progressively relaxed. We mention a few variations in the video but this can be used anywhere with anyone!
To additionally help with your stress, we are having our annual Moms and Mimosas event. I know some schools start this week or even last week and you’re welcome either way. Whether you’re jumping for joy that the kids are back in school or crying that your baby started, kindergarten, highschool or college, we are HERE for it!
Click HERE to RSVP and we will be ready with hugs and goodies!
If you have a favorite back to school destressing trick, we’d LOVE to hear it. Please reply and share – always read your emails!
Much love and support mamas!
Amy
