Hey MOT fam – Amy here and you’ve probably heard me talk about AWARENESS as a SUPER POWER! I’ve got another tool for your growing kit of ways to know your body.

There are a lot of different tracking apps out there. I used the free version of Fitness Pal for a long time. Recently when I started mt Carb Cycling journey, I upgraded to the paid version to make it as easy as possible on myself. Below is a video of me tracking a typical day and how I scan different items to make tracking easy and accurate.

Check out our video below for more on the ins and outs of nutrition tracking

  • can set goals for each day
  • easy for any type of macro plan
  • easy to create recipes and items you eat frequently
  • great even if you want to focus on one area like increasing protein or decreasing carbs

You’d be surprised how much of a difference just tracking things can make. I often encourage clients just to start tracking before they make any decisions about what to add or cut out. You might be surprised how much you’re snacking. Often just knowing you’re going to log something makes you think twice about putting it in your mouth and those choices can really add up and make a positive difference.

Would love to hear if you have a favorite tracking app you use or how you use it – just hit reply and tell us what’s working for you!
