Kate is a Holistic Somatic Practitioner specializing in trauma recovery and mental health.

Kate is a Certified Yoga Therapist and continuing education provider with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She also holds an ERYT500 and continuing education provider title through Yoga Alliance. She is a Breath Therapist through Integral Breath Therapy, a Reiki Master Teacher, Spiritual Mentor, and Yoga Teacher Trainer.

She specializes in working with clients in recovery from C/PTSD, trauma, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and other health imbalances. She blends yoga therapy, energy medicine, and spiritual coaching to help her clients find a deep well of peaceful safety inside, reclaiming their joy, and remembering their wholeness. Her work is done in-person or remotely, and can be combined with other approaches of medicine and wellness.

Kate offers private sessions, group mentoring, trainings, events, and workshops. She also loves to speak publicly sharing her story of thriving after Complex PTSD and how to use the tools she teaches to help you do the same.

Kate is an International best-selling author of I Am Strong Enough Now God, Thanks: My Journey from Trauma to Truth. She is the founder and creator of The Shipp MethodTM of Christ-Centered Trauma Recovery, a 7-step method for Remembered Wholeness and Embodied Holiness. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Arizona State University.

Her greatest joys are her two children, and the soul love of her husband. Her dogs and cats complete her family. She grounds herself in faith, and cherishes the magic and joy in the ordinary moments.
