I’m a mom of 2 who grew up in the valley, before moving to Chicago for 5 years. My family relocated back a little over 3 years ago. While living in Chicago, I became involved in the birth community and La Leche League. Without La Leche League I wouldn’t have been able to breastfeed as long as I have been. They taught me everything. My daughters birth was an eye opener in how dysfunctional birth can be. 3 years later when I gave birth to my son, I chose my team extremely carefully and had the best birth experience I could. Ive had 2 c-sections and I have been breastfeeding for the past 5 years. I breastfed my daughter till 3 and I’m currently breastfeeding my son who is 2.In my spare time, I enjoy doing anything by myself, and going on dates with my husband.
Katie is a wife of 15 years and homeschooling mother of three crazy kids: Marshall 6, Isabelle 4, and Everett almost 2. She has been an active member of her local Community Bible Study for many years and her passion is encouraging and inspiring other moms in their journey of motherhood.
