I know the New Year often brings diets or new eating convictions and some people give up food items for Lent or do a fast so I feel like it’s far more common to “clean” our bodies, but have you ever Spring Cleaned your mind?
Amy here and I want to talk about something that ultimately impacts our mind and body and even our spirit. The Nervous System!

If you’ve heard much of my content, you know I believe whole heartedly that our entire body is connected. There is now an abundance of evidence that a lot more is communicated from our literal gut up to the brain than from the brain down. We have so much power over what we think and how we feel yet little awareness of that. Yin yoga has been transformative for me personally related to calming my mind and slowing me down. In this crazy fast-faced, microwave world, we will have to take intentional action to control the battlefields of our minds (great book by the way), get off our devices and reign in our thoughts. |
There is power in taking control of our actual thoughts, but when we heal our nervous system, it does so much more than that. It literally removes roots of negativity, pain, wounds that significantly skew the lenses we experience life through. There are so many amazing techniques to positively influence our nervous system so I’m going to mention a few here but know there are many more! I will link videos or websites or events for more info when possible.

For many more tools like this and more, as well as intuitive intentional time with both Kate and myself, click HERE for more info on our upcoming all day Nervous System workshop March 1st, lunch included!

The nervous system is such a fabulous and complex topic that we’ve barely scratched the surface here. Feel free to reply with your favorite techniques or things you’d like more information on.
Blessings!
