Hey Moment of Truth Healing Space Family – Amy here and I’m hoping you’ll indulge me in a little story time. For those who may not know, we opened Moment of Truth Healing Space July 31, 2020. Some could easily say it’s a miracle we pulled it off and yet another miracle we’re still open today! Some of you even know all we went through in 2019 just to get the doors open. To say I have a lot to be grateful for might actually be the understatement of the year. 

It’s all because of you!

All of our amazing clients – whether yoga, physical therapy, massage, and now shockwave and stretch therapy. You have kept us alive and even thriving. You have made this space successful and helped build this resource within the community. 

And thanks to all of our amazing staff these past 4 years. I’m so grateful for everyone who has ever allowed any piece of healing and contributed to any healing – there are far too many to name and for that, I truly can’t express enough gratitude. So with that, and the season, I wanted to share more info about this powerful tool!

I know for me, a gratitude practice has dramatically shifted my mindset and perspective. Every morning I write down at least 3 things I’m grateful for. There’s even a lot of science to support the massive impact gratitude can have on us.

  • We can’t be fearful and grateful at the same time.
  • We can’t be angry and grateful at the same time.
  • We can’t be anxious and grateful at the same time.

So even thought it might only be for a few moments, GRATITUDE can shift everything if we let it!

Research suggests that practicing gratitude can significantly improve health by reducing stress, improving sleep, decreasing depression and anxiety, boosting the immune system, and potentially even lowering blood pressure, indicating a positive impact on both mental and physical well-being; studies often cite keeping a gratitude journal as a way to cultivate this practice effectively.
