Are you feeling like the year is starting without you?
I was too!
There, I said it. Amy writing to you and if you saw some of my December posts, you may have seen that I was struggling with feeling rushed and everything piling up before Christmas. With our dog needing surgery, Trevor’s volleyball tournament out of town, Taylor getting her wisdom teeth out and trying to make sure to see client’s before going out of town, I could barely breathe. I was truly trying to really enjoy the quieter moments and of course, I love watching Trevor play volleyball, but we had to be home for Honey a lot more which meant saying no to so much.
I’m very grateful that my mom and I still got to go to the Dream City Christmas performance, that our staff still had a special Christmas celebration, and the kids and I got down to Tucson for our annual tradition with my besties even though Steven was on shift. Thankfully we made it to Christmas Eve service and it was much better than I could’ve imagined. The candles get me every time and Pastor Dan gave an amazing message not just with the traditional birth story but about the truly good news of the freedom that comes with forgiveness and a fresh start. We even sang to Jelly Roll – IYKYK.Anyway, we had a lovely Christmas day and finally got out of town. I love road trips, the mountains and snow and we got all of that. And even with all of that goodness, I was still struggling. The pressure of new years and goals and fresh starts – it felt like so much. I wanted to just enjoy the time away but my brain wouldn’t stop spinning. Until – I switched to Gratitude!
I started thinking about all I was grateful for. Things about our home, my kids and their futures, our health, my marriage, our fun trip and no injuries while skiing! The business and the changes that have started. And specifically so many of the incredible healing shifts for lots of you!A few glimpses of our client highlights: 😍The woman who ended up in the hospital but was able to avoid another surgery with pelvic floor therapy and shockwave to finally address the 30″ of abdominal scar tissue she had from previous surgeries as well as endometrial adhesions. She now has less pain, better digestion and said she feels less inflamed overall. ✋A 22 yr old male who was having difficulty driving and working due to pelvic floor pain and we were able to help him regain a painfree, active lifestyle. 🔥The mother of 5 who was divorced and in a new happy relationship and trying to enjoy sex for the first time in her life and was finally able to have orgasms after shockwave and pelvic floor therapy. 🤱The post partum mom who was really worried about her body and the possibility of prolapse. She was able to truly learn what was going on with her body and get back to her favorite workouts without any other surgery or fears. We also had a mom with a C-section scar who did shockwave and has no more pain or numbness, can wear whatever she wants and her scar is a lot less noticeable! 🤩The man who went months without answers but finally found us and relief and was able to avoid surgery for his pelvic floor pain. He said it best when he wrote “It’s not just about addressing physical discomfort; it’s about reclaiming comfort, confidence, and ultimately, quality of life.” We are having so many coming through the doors who don’t just want help with pain, but want to feel more whole, want healing on all possible levels, who say they finally feel at home – nothing brings me greater joy than making people feel safe and seen. So as I reflected on this past year (thanks in large part to Heather’s Intentions workshop), and continued into this space of immense gratitude, things shifted, my brain feels clear. I’m not just ready to face this year, I’m excited! If we can support you in shifting, please reply and share how you’re feeling. I can PROMISE you gratitude helps but it can be hard to shift alone. We have lots of tools and resources to help and Jenn is also leading a Vision Board Workshop February 1st which help you tap into vision and clarity. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to do it alone!Blessings from Amy and the Moment of Truth team.
