Sharing nature pics from Sedona and your body!

So I was up in Sedona taking an advanced Fascial Cranium class so HAD to share some of the amazing recharging nature pictures before getting into the amazing nerdy anatomy stuff – but seriously it’s just as cool as the nature and how incredible was all that rain ⛈ and hail that seemed to descend on the entire state? I know it doesn’t fit but waterfalls💦are my favorite and I was so grateful to spend some time next to this one.

What are the similarities between your throat and vagina?
Not a question you likely expected to hear, am I right?

🌟There is a direct, physical and energetic connection between the throat and the vagina.

🌟During the early stages of embryo development, the vocal cords and ovaries are a single organ that eventually breaks into two separate organs.

Structurally, vocal cords resemble the vulva and pelvic floor. Physically, they are connected by the vagus nerve. (this honestly needs it’s own whole post)

It’s no coincidence that the word “cervix” means “neck” in Latin.

🌟Relaxing the throat relaxes the vagina, which helps in labor and delivery of a baby.

🌟Contraction of the throat muscles through speech and singing can also contract the pelvic floor and vaginal muscles. When we breathe deeply and consciously, involving the diaphragm and activating the connection between the encephalic trunk and the sacra plexus (2nd chakra), women can achieve stronger, longer orgasms. It’s important to vocalize your desires along with deep and low moans during sex to energetically open the sacred plexus.

🌟In Chinese medicine, part of treating sexual trauma involves treating the diaphragm and throat. Depending on the degree of trauma and sexual symptoms, connecting to these areas can allow the victim to regain their ability to project themselves vocally, without fear or stuttering. At MOT, we treat the anterior and posterior structures of the neck for these same reasons.

Some of you may have even had sessions since I got back and felt this amazing release work on your head or neck.

Not only is it critical for lasting release and opening but we’re also finding reciprocal relaxation with releasing either area.

The sphenoid (inside your skull – discussing this more next week), your pterygoids (In your jaw) and your piriformis (one of the muscles on both sides of the pelvis with your gluts) are the 3 key balancing points of your body. Below are my before and after pictures from the fascial cranium class.

Notice how sunken my eyes were, check the width in cheekbones and height of forehead in after pictures. Also less depth of creases around my mouth.

This was roughly 14 techniques across 4 days along with unwinding and rebounding sessions, time in nature and good sleep so definitely some compound effects but compelling regardless. Obviously I can’t post others’ results but have shown some of you the Facebook page where many of the class participants shared their before and after pictures. Truly remarkable changes in width across the cheek bones, foreheads, around the eyes for everyone.

Sorry for those of you that didn’t even know we do cranial work. Several clients mentioned that as I’ve been sharing. Marissa also does cranial so will be helping out with some of our client sessions!

Even if you just want a natural face lift, give us a call!

Stay tuned for more pelvic and skull connections next week!

Much love from Amy and the MOT team
