Have you ever been overwhelmed?
| Did the absurdity of that question make you want to reach through your screen and hit me? ➼Overwhelm ➼Burnout ➼Frustration ➼Rage ➼Grief ➼Exhaustion Those might feel like pretty intense words, but I want you to ask yourself: Have you felt any of those in the last week, few days or even last few hours? If you can honestly say no, you may not need to read the rest of this. Actually, one more question – Do you have any recurring thoughts in your life you want to change? If that’s a yes, keep reading. |
Tony Robbins 101 – it will be so much easier to change anything if you shift your state, your physiology, move your body. If you’re sitting, stand and bounce. Put some music on and shake it! OR if you’re overstimulated, sit and breathe deeply. There are many things you can do to Change your state!
Next, take a look at what you’re focusing on. What’s that inner voice saying?
Do you ever hear yourself thinking, “I never have enough time”?
Have you heard of the expression, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right”? That applies right here.
What we focus on expands. That’s why it’s #2 – This is where mantras (or incantations as Tony prefers to call them), journaling or even sticky notes can make a powerful difference. Some of my mantras over the years that have made a powerful shift in the reality I was living:
- There is enough time for everything (insane how this literally makes it so)
- I am a daughter of the King (Identity is everything – and you can change yours)
- Everything is happening FOR me not TO me (so empowering)
- I am Grateful (You can create whatever I AM statements resonate for you)
- I am Powerfully Surrendered
- I am Playful and Curious
- In this moment, I am safe (great one for calming the nervous system)

This is where Beliefs merge into the Language we use and how they influence each other. Here are some other ways you can bring positive influence and make this easier on yourself.
- Music – I use this to change my state and the words I’m focusing on. There are even channels that will play certain frequencies to change your state
- Podcasts
- Audiobooks
- Devotions
- Meditation
Please notice I’m giving you all the things to do – not wasting time on what to STOP doing. Again, focus matters. What’s wrong is always available – focus on the life you want to live then create it.
