Follow me – Most people complain of neck or shoulder pain. But shoulder pain often comes from scapular tightness which often comes from tightness along the midback. Tightness in the midback often causes the neck to move too much and get sore.

Bottom line – the location of your symptoms is not what needs stretching or mobilizing – a majority of the time. I always try to help clients get to the root cause of their issues and find permanent resolutions. Enough yammering – just try it and see!

Keeping your torso mobile will prevent tightening throughout your mid-back that often leads to neck and shoulder pain. If you love this one and realize you need more rib mobility, check out our shoulder opener stretch by clicking here! Once you do general stretching, you can also determine where to more strategically use your ball for specific releases! If you have any persistent neck pain, please be seen. Remember you can always call us for your FREE discovery session! 623-226-4002!
